The mill of Moncé belongs to the abbey of the same name. Following its destruction by a fire in the middle of the 18th century, the nuns sold the site to the miller Michel Georget, as part of an emphyteutic lease, in exchange for rebuilding it at his own expense.
Mr Sain de Bois le Comte, new owner of the site of the Abbey of Moncé, had the mill pulled down in 1845 to rebuild the current buildings.
In 1914, the mill was requisitioned to produce flour for the war effort. The mill ceased operation in 1916. Purchased by Mr Pras in 1936, it was transformed into a second home and is still inhabited.
